I created this tribe because I have found it very difficult to get information on this field of study.

Personally, I am especially interested in ancient recipes as well as the migration of food items and recipes throughout the world.

What are your interests?

    Hi Autumn and everyone else,

I took an Anthropology of Food course in university and found it fascinating..along with the use of food as medicine in medical anthropology. I really like the migration of food items and old recipes as well.

Have you read Near A Thousand Tables: A History of Food? Not anthropology per se, or really academic, but very interesting. You might also like The Anthropologists' Cookbook.
